2008 Women's Doubles Program

WOMEN’S PROGRAMS

Women's Doubles Program 2008

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays,
7:30 to 9 a.m.
Starts June 2
-- Ends Sept. 29

There will be 7:30, 9 and 10:30 a.m. groups
of 24 players on courts 2 to 7.
Entrance into the program will be first-come, first-served.
Players will be assigned to a particular court
which reflects the player's ability,
using the same highly competitive format of last year.

Responsibilities and Benefits of Program Membership:

  • Pre-arranged court time guaranteed

  • Players are responsible for providing a substitute in the event of an absence (a substitute list will be provided). Non-member substitutes may only be used once per month, unless permitted by the staff. A guest fee of $8, plus $1 for balls, will be levied and paid in the pro shop before court entry.)

  • New balls will be provided every Monday for players on each court.

  • The Snack Bar will be serving coffee and muffins at reasonable prices.

Women’s doubles morning program, rules and regulations

1. Program starts June 4 and ends Sept. 28. Players may request a 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m. or a 10:30 a.m. session. Court assignments will be made according to the player’s ability level that are committed for that session.
2. There will be a monthly fee to be determined, depending on the number of days per week that you play.
3. Players will complete a sign-up form each month with all the dates that they wish to participate in the program. A master list of players and their committed dates will be compiled from this list to make daily court assignments.
4. Players not wishing to participate in the program on a regular basis, can summit their names for a sub list. Subs will be accessed a $1 fee for balls.
5. All 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. courts not assigned on a particular day will be given out by a lottery system with women receiving preference in the drawing. Lottery sign up sheets will be available in the pro shop. Players must make and check all lottery requests. Pro shop staff is not responsible for lottery sign-up requests.
6. The pro shop will be NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for finding substitutes. Court assignments will be made the day before the scheduled session.
7. A player is responsible to find her own substitute after she commits for the week. When obtaining a substitute, the sub should be of the same ability level. A sub can only earn one point for his replacement..
8. A member may bring a guest to a session if arrangements are made in advance. A guest fee of $8 plus $1 for the balls will be charged to the member if the guest does not pay the fee.
9. Pro shop personnel will not be available as substitutes. The pro shop needs to be manned at all times for the conveniece of our members and for security purposes.
10. Guest fees are in effect from the opening to the closing of the courts. Members are responsible for all their guest fees.
11. A sign-up form is available to download at the bottom of this page or in the pro shop after May 1.
12. Scores will be kept from each individual session in order to determine the court assignments for the next session (Monday’s scores for Mondays, Wednesday’s scores for Wednesdays, and Friday’s scores for Fridays). There will not be a season-long composite of scores.
