2012 ~ Meet the Pros ~ 2012

 

John Maloy, tennis director at King's Grant, has been a member of the U.S. Professional Tennis Association for more than 30 years. He has extensive experience teaching both adult and junior lessons and clinics. John has successfully coached and traveled with his two daughters in both sectional and national tournaments, as well high school and college varsity. He is also a former elementary school teacher.

 


Popular Cape Cod pro Nash Muraya
will return for the 2012 season. Nash has
an extensive and impressive competitive
and teaching background and is looking
forward to working with our members
of all ages. Nash is also a member of the Babalot team and is a local representative
for their products.

 

John Swan returns for his fourth season. "Swannie" is a member of the USPTA and has been very active in the USTA adult tournament program. He has attained high rankings in all age categories. John is a student of the “game” of tennis and will provide excellent instruction in both singles and doubles technique and strategy.

 

“Gentleman” Tom Larkin will be returning for his fourth season at King’s Grant. He has consistently been a highly ranked player in both USTA New England singles and doubles adult competition. Tom has attained national ranking in both USTA Father/Son and Father/Daughter competition. He has coached both his children to high ranking in USTA New England competition.


John Fournier, teaching professional and a long-time coach of tournament players, is currently ranked No. 1 in the men's 65s and No. 2 in the men's 60s in New England USTA doubles. He was Director of Tennis at the Falmouth Sports Center for many years, and also the Head Teaching Professional at New Seabury Tennis Club. Returning as a clinic instructor and giving private lessons, John will also provide specialized coaching for doubles teams and individuals who want to develop the strategy, tactics and positioning that will make you a better player ... and have fun doing it!
