We are looking forward to an amazing 47th season at Kings Grant!  It’s hard to believe that in just 8 weeks the clay courts will be open again with the new season back in full swing!

As we kick off a brand-new decade at the club we are excited to announce some much needed and substantial improvements to the facilities.  Before the start of the season, the courts will be receiving extensive enhancements that will improve play-ability and enjoyment.  You’ll notice work being done in April getting the courts ready for this summer and (and another 47 seasons) including all new fences, laser grading of the all 6 Har-tru courts, and a complete professional reconditioning. Rest assured, the courts will be ready for the season and in the best shape ever!

Additionally, next fall, after the season has ended, the club house will be receiving some long overdue capital improvements.  The plans call for renovations to the bathrooms, interior of the clubhouse, and other critical updates.  The goal of the improvements is to make sure the club and its facilities are safe and sustainable for the future.

As a result of the necessary capital improvements, you will notice we have increased membership dues for the 2020 season.  In-line with John Maloy’s vision for the club and tennis on the cape, we’ve done our best to keep dues as low as possible for many years. Nevertheless, these improvements must be made.

Of most importance, we are steadfast in maintaining the culture of Kings Grant as “a place to enjoy great tennis with friends.”  Thank you all for being a part of the club and making it such a special place.  We look forward to continuing Kings Grant for the decades to come!

Members who pay for their membership by April 1, 2020 will receive a gift (memberships purchased April 2nd or later will not be eligible for the present, however they will be available for purchase). Members, who prefer to pay by check, may continue to mail checks to the club at PO Box 153 Cotuit, MA 02635 (to be eligible for the free gift envelope must be post marked no later than April 1st).
